Dayton Children’s is grateful for the support of our donors who serve as our partners in caring for children and families throughout our region. By making a gift, you have shown a strong commitment to our hospital and our goal to provide the highest quality of health care for sick and injured children, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Dayton Children’s acknowledges this generosity and loyalty through donor recognition societies, donor walls throughout the hospital, and donor recognition events.
gifts for the future
We can plant seeds that will blossom after our lifetimes to benefit the children of our region. By making a plan today, we can create a legacy that helps our children achieve a healthier tomorrow.
Our Annae Barney Gorman Legacy Society honors and recognizes those who have made future gift commitments to Dayton Children’s and notified us of their intentions.
Our members have the option to participate in tours and special events, to receive updates on the hospital and the impact of planned gifts, and to be acknowledged on our donor wall, in honor of a loved one, or remain anonymous.
There are several ways to make a future gift to Dayton Children’s. Supporters can choose to designate Dayton Children’s as a beneficiary of an IRA, retirement plan, life insurance, investment account, or bank account. Other options include making a bequest to Dayton Children’s through a will or trust, giving to Dayton Children’s though a Donor Advised Fund, or other methods determined by working with our gift officer.
We are very grateful to the members of our Legacy Society for seeing the need for exceptional care for our kids and creating a way to support our mission for decades to come.
leadership gifts
The Elsie T. Mead Society is named for one of Dayton Children’s founders and visionaries, Elsie Talbott Mead, who always believed “children needed their own hospital.” The Elsie T. Mead Society recognizes cumulative giving of $10,000 or more from individuals, corporations, foundations, and organizations. Through members’ generous support, we can ensure that every child has access to care that’s just as special as they are! Contact a gift officer to learn more about how you can support the Elsie T. Mead Society.
leadership annual giving
The Partners in Hope giving society is a way for us to thank and honor those individuals who gave $1,000 or more annually to support kids at Dayton Children’s Hospital.
Partners in Hope is a title that illustrates how we think of each member. You are not just donors, but true partners in providing access to innovative care for all kids and serving our community with hope and compassion.
These caring members have made a commitment to our hospital and to our goal of providing the highest quality of care to every child within our reach. Our Partners in Hope members will receive the latest updates about how their gift is helping children and will be among the first to know about exciting new opportunities for getting involved at Dayton Children’s.
We invite you to join or renew your membership in the Partners in Hope giving society through an annual one-time or cumulative gift of $1,000 or more.
monthly giving
Sick kids need you all year long. Members of our monthly giving society, the Circle of Care, understand the never-ending need for caring for kids who come to Dayton Children’s every day with everything from broken bones to asthma, developmental delays, behavioral health needs, cancer and so much more.
By committing to a monthly gift, you ensure that sick and injured kids receive the absolute best care all year long.
Like a never-ending circle, children will never stop needing specialized pediatric care close to home. And like a circle, your care for kids can go on and on.
