Child Advocacy Centers are community organizations devoted to providing vital services and safe, supportive environments for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
We work tirelessly to investigate allegations, provide compassionate therapy, and advocate for the well-being of some of our most vulnerable community members.
Dayton Children’s Hospital is lucky to have two centers under our umbrella: Michael’s House serving Greene County and CARE House serving Montgomery County.
A time to raise awareness and inspire action. We envision a world where every child grows up safe, happy, healthy, and supported by nurturing families and strong communities. To represent that vision, we are pleased to announce the planting of “Pinwheel Gardens” throughout our community beginning April 1. These gardens will serve as meaningful reminders that each of us has a role to play in protecting and supporting children. When you see them, we encourage you to pause and reflect on their importance and the difference we can make together.
But this work cannot be done alone. We need your voice and your support to help advocate for the most vulnerable children among us. Please join us by downloading a virtual pinwheel to display in your office or home and please consider making a donation to support the tireless efforts of Michael’s House and CARE House.
