Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) – the alliance of premier hospitals for children – is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America. Each year, the 170 hospitals within CMN Hospitals provide the finest medical care, lifesaving research, and preventive education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
When a donation is made through a CMN Hospitals sponsored activity, it stays in the community, helping local kids. Since 1983, CMN Hospitals has raised more than $8.5 billion, most of it $1 at a time. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of our mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Radiothon
Every fall, the K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon raises money to provide high-quality pediatric health care to infants, children and teens throughout the region. Since 1998, they have raised millions of dollars to help Dayton Children’s provide the best pediatric care for children.
Extra Life
Extra Life is a 24-hour gaming marathon to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals like Dayton Children’s. Gamers ask family and friends to contribute to their gaming marathon and then spend the day participating in any sort of games from video to board to active games!
Dance Marathon
Dance to raise money for Dayton Children’s! Any student group can begin a new dance marathon program at their school and will spend a year gaining leadership, teamwork, and nonprofit business experience while raising funds and interacting with hospital patients and families. The University of Dayton, Wright State University and several local high schools have been long-time Dance Marathon partners.
miracle balloons
Many businesses in the area sell Children’s Miracle Network balloons and other icons throughout the year. All the money raised in the Dayton area and the twenty-county service region directly benefits Dayton Children’s. Many of these companies may also have change-collection jars or conduct special events during the year and we urge you to actively take part.

We are always looking for new partners to join us in becoming a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals partner and raise money for Dayton Children’s. This may involve hosting an event, collecting change at your counter, or participating in one of the established programs outlined above.
